Experience personalized education for a brighter future.
Our vision is to create a leading edge environment in which students can receive a high-quality education from home.
We are committed to making this vision a reality through our innovative teaching methods and dedicated one-on-one time with our students.
Wild Bear Learning was founded with the idea of giving students more control of their learning starting from a younger age. This style of teaching is aimed towards elementary age students with a different way of learning, such as ADHD , OCD , and any other diverse brain types. Each class is personalized to our students needs.
Thank you for visiting this website, and showing an interest in your child's brighter future. If you'd like to try this method of homeschool, please consider signing up to receive a free weekly email that contains the lesson outline for the week, and more!
Wild Bear Learning is taking a new approach to education by offering each student an opportunity to design their own schedule and curriculum from a young age. The purpose for this approach is to introduce self-motivation and happy thoughts of self. The Class is built into your normal everyday routine, giving the child a natural sense of control over their life and education. When you sign up, you'll be sent a guided booklet for each subject, and some journal pages designed to keep the whole family on track. Wild Bear Learning 's routine is good for parents too!
Our curriculum is designed to provide a well-rounded education that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and innovation, and prepares our students for success in a rapidly changing world. We believe a quality education starts with a good night sleep. This curriculum is designed to cater to each students natural internal clock. No alarms, and no due dates. Our priority is for the student to obtain this knowledge for a lifetime, not just for a test. This routine starts when the child first wakes up, and you'll notice they are immediately given "Free Time". Normally in a school setting, free time is only given after it has been "earned". Our approach is going to teach the student that they are responsible for their own healthy choices, and it begins as soon as they wake up. That's where the parents come in! This type of homeschool requires each parent to dedicate quality time with their child during this free time, coaching them to make the right desicions about their health and education.
For example, during this free time you give your child a variety of healthy options to start their day (such as brushing your teeth, eating breakfast, or washing your face), and see which of the options the child feels most comfortable doing first thing in the morning. If none of your options sound good, listen genuinely to what the child would like to do and see if there is a need you can help them meet for themselves. Let them know that this is their time, and they can do with it whatever they want. It is important to listen to what the child wants with genuine interest in their happiness, and not to dismiss their desires as bad or inappropriate. After the free time, you and your child begin creating the project or worksheet for that day's subject. If you decide to sign up for this program, you'll be sent a booklet with this Daily Routine page, and more pages with ideas for each subject project.
Each day of the week is dedicated to one subject, and the child designs their own worksheet, or project, for each subject. This method of teaching provides the child an opportunity to explore self responsibility in a fun and secure way. Wild Bear Learning encourages students to take control of their learning, and make it as fun as possible. We start with a template that encases the topic of the day, then the child gets to make changes that suit them.
As parents ourselves, we hope to reach the hearts and minds of other parents with our approach to homeschooling. Every week we will send you a project plan for each subject, and some idea's for coaching your students.
